What is the sound of orientation?

SER# 2 Locally-oriented is a sound piece that addresses this question through a device built on the act of consuming. This piece poses, on the one hand, a critique of the condition of living in societies that are controlled and oriented by urgency and necessity, societies that impose particular lines of visibility and enunciation and that naturally produce a mode of consumption where things are accumulated but without coming into contact with the power relations that make their existence possible. On the other hand, this piece is constructed from the collection of sounds in environments with which a relationship is established through the intimate act of attentive listening. In this context, this piece exists for a single day and is exhausted with each gesture that makes the 64 pieces into which it is divided disappear one by one. The intimate and individualised gesture of listening to each fragment excludes in advance, unless someone decides to exhaust it without giving up a piece to anyone else, the possibility of knowing it in its entirety, thus making it impossible to contextualise this now exhausted fragment.
